Our People Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:Manager, HR Business Partnering (Swire Programmes)As the Manager, HR Business Partnering (Swire Programmes), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Programme staff. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on talent management and employee engagement, driving business success. This dynamic role requires a deep understanding of HR principles, strong business acumen, and the ability to seamlessly align HR strategies with our organisational goals.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand organisational goals and align Hong Kong head office and programme staff with these objectives
  • Implement talent management strategies with operating companies, focusing on retention and employee development
  • Provide guidance on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution and employee grievances
  • Support organisational change initiatives and help employees navigate transitions
  • Identify skills gaps and development needs through conversations with Programme staff and operating companies
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Lead or participate in strategic HR projects, such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A Bachelor's degree, with at least 8 years in HR experience, preferably in a business partner role
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage HR operations in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent business acumen with a track record of aligning HR strategies to organisational objectives
  • Proficiency in HR information systems, performance management software, and HR technology platforms
  • Competency in data analytics tools, business intelligence, and data visusalisation tools to interpret HR metrics and support informed decision-making
  • Experience leveraging digital tools for HR strategy creation, team management, and budget tracking
  • The ability to use online collaboration tools to promote communication and information sharing among stakeholders
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English; additional language may be advantageous
