We help businesses meet their tax and statutory responsibilities while identifying planning opportunities and mitigating unwarranted risks. We also utilize technology to help manage the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' tax operations and turn compliance data into insights that deliver real business value and strategic advantage to client organizations.Work you'll do
  • Apply relevant and appropriate technical knowledge during the Business Tax project lifecycle, including during client conversations and advisory deliverables
  • Guide and advise team in applying service line-specific standard methodologies, policies, procedures, and tools
  • Enable fact-based decision making by using appropriate research techniques and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in using technologies to achieve efficiencies and enhance deliverables
  • Help clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines, and realize business goals
  • Advise on a wide range of business tax matters from compliance to planning. Understand and explain the implications of expansion, acquisition, divestment, and reorganization in local and international contexts Tax
  • Review income tax provisions in accordance with the applicable tax accounting standards, and confirm all related/supporting tax provision calculations and analyze Applies practical technical knowledge when supervising team members in drafting responses to tax authorities and when helping clients understand the audit lifecycle process
  • Assist clients in the resolution of tax disputes
We are looking for someone with
  • Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related disciplines
  • Professional accounting qualification or registered tax agent or lawyer is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience with CPA firms (Big 4 experience is preferred), law firms, tax authorities or large corporation
  • In-depth understanding of tax policies, rules and regulations
  • Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
  • Strong consultation skills, communication skills, self-initiation, teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure
  • Be mature, proactive, committed, motivated with strong sense of teamwork
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and business development skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
