Overview:We are hiring a hands-on Infrastructure & AI Specialist to join a global manufacturing company driving digital transformation and now embarking on AI integration across its production sites.This is a newly created, standalone role ideal for someone confident in managing end-to-end projects, with a strong background in infrastructure and machine engineering, ideally with experience in Smart Factory initiatives and AI-related technologies.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end planning and implementation of Smart Factory and AI technologies across global manufacturing plants
Assess and enhance IT infrastructure to support AI-driven initiatives
Provide hands-on infrastructure support, ensuring alignment with production and operational requirements
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI with factory machinery and systems
Develop and deploy automation and AI models independently
Participate in international project rollouts
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with AI technologies, ideally applied in manufacturing or industrial environments
Background in machine engineering, industrial systems, or operational technology (OT)
Proven experience in Smart Factory projects or manufacturing automation
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including IoT devices and solutions
Self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable with frequent international travel and cross-time-zone collaboration
