FinTech and Data Science Lead

• Pitch & Influence C-Level on adopting new technologies to the business through Business Case and Project ROI. Implement projects with continuous enhancement.
• Report to CTO, drive IT Strategy, Resource Planning, IT Budget and Financial Control for Innovation Team.
• Drive Innovative culture, lead a team of 7 across HK and SZ
• Establish AI Machine Learning Platform on Ali-Cloud. Enable Data Engineers, Data Scientists and ML Ops Engineers to build models for business use cases.
• Formulate ML Ops and Model Retraining Methodology.
• Implement e-ID verification and Chatbot. Operationalize Chatbot NLP intent retraining and grow the intelligence.
• Partnership with research insitutites/ medium to large size tech firms to develop and execute innovation solutions e.g. Anti-Fraud solution for Bank Statement.
• Perform research on Data Governance, Opensources technologies e.g. speech-to-text, and enterprise application of Blockchain, Chat-GPT and Web 3.0/Metaverse.

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• 7+ years experience of Fintech and Digital Transformation
• Strong Project/ Product Management skill with track record in leading and mobilizing cross-functional teams across multiple priorities
• Prefer candidates to come from technical background, strategic & analytical mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Background from financial services/ insurance/ telecommunication industry is preferred; Start up or strategy consulting experience from big 4/ tech consulting firm is a plus
• Sound experience in emerging technologies e.g. Data Science, AI/ML, Generative AI, ChatGPT, Web3, Blockchain, DevOps, eKYC etc.
• Strong network across FinTech and innovation/ transformation ecosystem
• Strong people person, able to build rapport quickly and cultivate relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Good command in English & Chinese
