Student Support Teacher – Secondary School (English Stream)

• Partner with classroom instructors and year-level coordinators to design and implement tailored learning strategies for students with diverse needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group academic support based on collaborative planning with faculty and families.
• Develop and oversee individualized learning plans (IEPs), ensuring they are aligned with each student's unique learning profile.
• Coordinate with external professionals when necessary to arrange assessments and share relevant insights with the teaching team.
• Work closely with the department head to ensure inclusive practices are embedded across the school.

• Strong understanding of various learning differences, including attention-related and executive functioning challenges; experience with gifted students who also have learning needs is highly valued.
• Proven ability to manage student support cases and advocate for appropriate educational accommodations.
• Familiarity with integrating mental wellness and positive psychology into learning support.
• Holds a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) for secondary education.
• Knowledge of international curricula, particularly IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.
• Prior experience in international or multicultural school settings is advantageous.
• Ideally has at least five years of teaching experience.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Holds a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) for secondary education.
