Job Responsibilities:
  • Roll out new businesses and projects in relation to Global Markets / DCM / Treasury teams covering FX, bonds, options, rates, repos, book-building activities, credit derivatives and any other types of derivatives
  • Act as the project owner to work with internal stakeholders (such as market risk, credit risk, operations, IT, compliance, finance, legal, treasury, global markets and DCM) to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Prepare new product proposal and high-level inter-department workflow and booking design involved for New Product Committee’s approval
  • Design trade life cycle documentation, including but not limited to termsheet, confirmation, settlement advice and termination advice
  • Lead system change UAT in relation to the change on product requirement/ business requirement
  • Negotiate agreements with interbank counterparties for agreements related to Treasury / Global Markets business, including but not limited to ISDA, VM CSA, GMRA and CDEA. Act as the contact point on documentation issue with interbank counterparties
  • Communicate with Head Office (mainly with Risk Department and Financial Markets Department) in relation to the approval of new business and execution of agreements
  • Coordinate projects in relation to regulatory change on Treasury and Global Markets business
  • Assist Department Head to formulate product strategy for enhancement of product utilization and prepare necessary reports
  • Support front office on providing product training, client visit and product customization
  • Complete ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned by Department Head
Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Business or related disciplines
  • Possess professional qualification of CFA or FRM would be an advantage
  • At least 8 years of experience in treasury and global market products such as FX, IRS, CCS, bonds, repos, credit derivatives and FX options
  • Experience in implementation of cross-border products is an advantage
  • Good knowledge in global OTC derivatives-related regulatory requirements and industry development trend
  • Familiar with front to back operation process flow on financial market transactions
  • Sensitive about international market developments and industry initiatives
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, independent, self-motivating and able to work under pressure
  • Proven project management and people management skills
  • Good Proposal, policy writing and presentation skill.
  • Good VBA / other programming skill is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
