Responsibilities:Responsible to the Consultant and Sub-Consultants for the supervision of all the architectural and building works on site;Act as site representative under the direction of the Architect;Monitor the progress of architectural and building works on site against agreed procedures and programme;Inspect and examine materials used and workmanship employed in the architectural and building works;Coordinate site variations to deal with on-site difficulties and report to the Architect;Check, supervise and inspect all contractors’ temporary works;Assist the Consultant in vetting contractors’ submissions;Liaise with other project team members including the Employer’s Representative on all site matters;Assist in liaising and coordinating with relevant Government Departments and public utility companies in respect of the architectural and building works on site;Copy all site memos to other project team members and the Employer’s Representative; Maintain a site logbook recording all activities on site;Carry out such other duties as directed by the Architect or the Employer’s Representative;Requirements:Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent / Engineering qualifications.8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience / 5 years’ relevant experience as Resident Assistant Clerk of Works or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent.Degree, certificate, Dip or higher Dip in occupational safety and health or in construction safety.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
