The successful candidate shall follow Amazon Data Center processes and maintain high operational standards in supporting server and network hardware and software. They need to adapt to fast and constantly changing environment and will require shift work including weekend and holiday.Key job responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
- Incident first responder and onsite hands on support
- Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
- Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
- Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
- Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas
- Innovate and contribute from day to day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge on continuous process improvement
- Literacy in security and customer data protection
