The Department prides itself on providing a rigorous and dynamic research environment, with scholars and professionals who have a diversity of research interests. The Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design is a postgraduate programme. Students and teachers research, design, and construct on-site collectively in a full-time, one-year, three-trimester programme to implement experimental building practices with local communities. For information about the programme, please visit .Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Architecture, specialised in digital fabrication and hands-on making skills. They should be proficient in using computer-controlled fabrication machinery, including laser cutters, CNC milling machine, and 3D printers, and have experience using traditional wood and metal workshop machinery and power tools as well as robotic fabrication. Subject to their prior experience, the job title and salary offered may be adjusted accordingly.The appointee is expected to teach design and elective courses about fabrication.
