- The candidate shall have relevant knowledge and experience on Alternative Domains background to demonstrate:
- Good business analysis skills.
- Mandatory: knowledge of Alternative Asset Management – Ideally, certain level of knowledge on specific asset types and related business processes within our business
- Processes: origination, portfolio management, capital calls and distributions, valuations, NAV validation, reporting
- Ability to synthesise the high-level picture while understanding the details.
- Significant experience in Alt data management and set up.
- Ideally knowledge of some of these tools: Citco, and potentially Allvue, eFront, MSCI, WSO.
- Analytical expertise in operational and business change requirements
- Write Business Requirement Document (BRD)
- Process and data modeling
- Design and document existing/ new requirements and processes with limited existing documentation.
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Understands, follows, and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy
- Understand the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, HSBC Global Asset Management’s TCF philosophy and how this affects your role. Act in a manner that takes account of these principles to ensure fair outcomes for customers
