  • Implement the operational risk framework (policies, standards, and guideline) and conduct risk assessments across all departments in accordance with the Bank’s schedule
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on risk assessment outcomes and present findings to management and relevant committees
  • Identify operational weaknesses, initiate corrective actions, follow-up on action plans and closure of gaps identified
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff awareness and capabilities in identifying, assessing, and managing operational risks
  • Support the Head of Operational Risk Management in executing strategies and policies related to operational and technology risk
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and enforce effective control measures aimed at minimizing losses from operational events
  • Provide input to the development of products, services, and processes to minimize operational risk exposure
  • Support the maintenance of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system in alignment with Group policies and standards
  • Act as coordinator for the Bank’s Risk Culture initiatives and provide support for other ad-hoc risk management activities
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, with exposure to risk management or internal audit functions
  • Holder of ECF on Operational Risk Management (ORM) accredited by HKIB is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, products, and systems
  • Solid understanding of operational risk management principles, frameworks, and best practices
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and completing initiatives
  • Collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
