- Implement the operational risk framework (policies, standards, and guideline) and conduct risk assessments across all departments in accordance with the Bank’s schedule
- Prepare comprehensive reports on risk assessment outcomes and present findings to management and relevant committees
- Identify operational weaknesses, initiate corrective actions, follow-up on action plans and closure of gaps identified
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff awareness and capabilities in identifying, assessing, and managing operational risks
- Support the Head of Operational Risk Management in executing strategies and policies related to operational and technology risk
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and enforce effective control measures aimed at minimizing losses from operational events
- Provide input to the development of products, services, and processes to minimize operational risk exposure
- Support the maintenance of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system in alignment with Group policies and standards
- Act as coordinator for the Bank’s Risk Culture initiatives and provide support for other ad-hoc risk management activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, with exposure to risk management or internal audit functions
- Holder of ECF on Operational Risk Management (ORM) accredited by HKIB is preferred
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, products, and systems
- Solid understanding of operational risk management principles, frameworks, and best practices
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure
- Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and completing initiatives
- Collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
