Job Description:The Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme (GBAYES) is a joint initiative between the HKSAR Government, CLP Holdings Limited and other major companies in Hong Kong.At CLP, we believe in nurturing the next generation of talent. As one of the participating companies in the GBAYES initiated by the HKSAR Government, we are delighted to provide young people in Hong Kong with the opportunity to broaden their horizons. Through this programme, participants will gain invaluable firsthand experience and insights into the latest developments towards a net-zero future.We support you by providing hands-on work experience through interesting, and well designed internship projects with a wide range of opportunities.Project Descriptions:
  • Based in Hong Kong and Shenzhen for 18 months GBAYES.
  • This project is a research project, aims to align the HR practices, policies and operations between Group Human Resources and China Assets, so as to maintain the efficient and effective HR workforce and services; and achieve business objectives of China Business Unit (BU).
Project Deliverables:
  • Provide support on full spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, administration of compensation and benefits, training & development, employee compensation and employee relations, etc.
  • Provide support on daily HR account management initiatives
  • Provide assistance to the annual key HR processes including business planning and manpower budget, performance management process, annual incentive and pay review. Annual Business Conference, etc.
  • Assist in formulating and enhancing all HR policies & procedures and participate in other ad-hoc projects
Special Skills required:
  • Must be a Hong Kong resident aged 18 to 29 with legally employable to work in both Mainland China and Hong Kong
  • Willing to be stationed in the Greater Bay Area during the 18-month contract period, and open to assignments in other mainland cities and Hong Kong as required
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / HR Management or equivalent with minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English including Putonghua
  • Basic knowledge of HRIS, HR related policies and procedures and with good understanding of employment related ordinances and regulations
  • Excellent in the use of MS Office applications. Experience in using HR application would be an advantage
  • Detail-oriented and be sensible in handling confidential information
  • Result oriented, meticulous and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-organized, independent, customer-oriented and able to work under tight timeline and pressure
