Job Description :Learning Enhancement Teacher, Primary● Full-time 27 hours per week● Starting mid-August 2024● Across our three primary campuses at JL, CW and TKO● Supporting students with an IEP● Providing support for small groups of students in English and Maths● Not suitable for NQTsInternational Stream Job OutlineAn exciting opportunity has arisen to teach in the international primary at FIS. We are seeking an inspirational and energetic primary learning enhancement teacher to teach individuals and groups of students across our Chai Wan (CW), Tseung Kwan O (TKO) and Jardine’s Lookout (JL) Campus in the International Primary Stream. You will work alongside other teachers and teaching assistants to provide support for students within the curriculum. The successful candidates will have a proven track record of academic success, innovation and development throughout their career.RequirementsWe are seeking a Learning Enhancement Teacher who will:● Be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the English National Curriculum● Be well qualified with an internationally accepted degree and teaching qualification (Not suitable for NQTs)● Develop Individual Education Plans for students in collaboration with teachers and parents.● Develop and implement the delivery of EAL support in line with the school curriculum.● Provide guidance and advice to staff in ways to meet students' needs, including those who may be gifted and talented● Actively put modifications and accommodations in place to help remove barriers for students with individual needs.● Collaborate professionally with other staff to ensure the provision is the best it can be.● Use technologies to enhance learning and teaching experiences for students needing scaffolded support.● Use a range of assessment and reporting methods to monitor, document, measure and report on learning to improve learning and teaching.● Team teach and model strategies of support & challenge where appropriate.● Teach specific programmes linked to student goals and monitor the effectiveness of these programmes.● Ensure appropriate records are kept on students with individual needs.BenefitsWe will provide:● A competitive salary● Opportunities for ongoing professional development.● A professionally stimulating and supportive working environment.● The chance to work in a culturally diverse context.Please submit your application (resume and cover letter) via this link: https:// .
