- Advocate for users (customers and drivers), uncovering pain points and blockers that prevent them from achieving their goals.
- Define, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, collecting and analysing opinions and data to investigate the root cause of the current user experience issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams in different cities to conduct research and understand their operational flows and practices that may impact (or be impacted by) users' pain points.
- Provide actionable insights to help drive evidence-based product decisions and align with business goals.
- Liaise with other user researchers to co-develop and track user research needs and goals to ensure that user research consistently supports product initiatives.
- You have relevant experience in user research or a related discipline such as service design, design strategy, market research.
- You are familiar with some of user research methodologies such as content analysis, interviews and ethnographic-style fieldwork, survey design and data analysis, moderating group conversations, running live prototyping sessions, conducting co-design workshops, and engaging users remotely.
- You have some experience with basic mixed methods research and can synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research.
- You have high-quality planning and organizational capabilities.
- You have a strong understanding of UX and the latest technology trends.
- You can communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively. You are a good team player, self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail, have strong interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in English.
- You have a degree in Service Design, Design strategy & Management, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Social Science or a related field.
- If you have experiences or talents that compliment your depth of research craft, such as communication design, CX, account management, service design or others, feel free to let us know.
- You have fluency in other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesian, Bahasa Malay.
- Your portfolio should include 1-2 examples of projects you've worked on in a research capacity, either in an academic or professional setting. In your description of 2-3 example projects, focus on:
- The challenge you were trying to solve
- Your specific role on the project
- The research approach and methods you used
- Some of your key learnings or insights
- The impact of your research findings (if applicable)
