Jebsen Logistics, as an independent provider of specialised logistics and supply chain management services.Assistant Logistics ManagerPurpose of the JobThis position will assist the Logistics Service Manager, with a focus on delivery and distribution, in ensuring daily local delivery fulfilment for the beverage business. He/she will be required to monitor daily operations, plan, and implement process improvement actions, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams (including but not limited to Beverage Customer Service Team, Warehouse Team) and external vendors to ensure timely delivery with agreed service quality standard.
- Monitor the end-to-end delivery process, including but not limited to smooth delivery, collection of POD, COD payment and goods return.
- Participate and assist with vendor selection project, including vendor list preparation, terms review, and vendor comparison. Closely monitor and evaluate external vendors’ performance to maintain agreed service level in terms of accuracy, timeliness, and service quality.
- Identify areas for improvement and assist in planning and implementing feasible actions to enhance operation efficiency.
- Prepare KPIs and compile statistical reports and analysis for management review.
- Assist with ad-hoc logistics-related assignments or projects.
- Tertiary educated or above is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
- Experience in FMCG industry or 3PL delivery management is an advantage.
- Familiar with Transportation Management System and route optimization tool is highly preferred.
- Strong communications and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure.
- Result-oriented with customer-centric mindset.
- Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Logistics Service Manager
