The Infrastructure and Data Center PMO Associate will play a critical role in overseeing a portfolio of infrastructure and data center projects to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with specific knowledge of infrastructure and data center initiatives within the financial services industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of infrastructure and data center projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including technical teams, vendors, and business partners, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively track and report on project progress.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing roadblocks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Act as a central point of contact for project communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor project performance against key metrics and KPIs, evaluating project success and identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the PMO.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Around 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure and data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, data center operations, and IT service management practices.
- Experience working in the financial services industry or closely related fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
