For further information, please visit the School's website at .Research Assistant Professor in Fashion Business / Design / Digital Technology (two posts) (Ref. 240223004)The appointees will be required to (a) conduct research in fashion and textile business as the main duty and actively pursue external research grants, such as General Research Fund, Innovation and Technology Fund and other competitive external fund, as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator; (b) provide supervision of MPhil or PhD students; (c) provide quality teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level; (d) contribute to the School's service; and (e) perform any other duties as assigned by the designated project leader, Dean of School or their delegates.Applicants should have (a) a PhD degree in Fashion and Textile Business, Fashion Design, Interaction Design, Digital Technology, Digital Fashion or related disciplines; (b) preferably at least two years of postdoctoral research experience; (c) solid experience in university teaching and/or excellent record in academic and research achievement in fashion technologies or related areas; (d) high-impact research and publication record in high quality scholarly journals or strong potential to publish in top-tier refereed journals; (e) strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research and professional service; and (f) excellent communication skills and be able to use English as the medium of instruction.
