(senior) data scientist (perm, up to 45k)

• Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from problem definition and data collection to model deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and operations, to understand business needs and define analytical problems.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and availability.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data science tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Champion data-driven decision-making within the organization and contribute to building a strong data culture.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist in an in-house role.
• Proven expertise in Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) and SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis), and experimental design.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable business insights.
• A strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving challenging problems with data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
