The Counseling and Wellness Center of the Dean of Students’ Office supports a wide range of services and resources to enhance students’ psychological health and ensure equal opportunity to benefit students from a total university experience and to cultivate campus inclusion.The appointee will report to Manager (Counseling and Wellness) and will be responsible for (a) planning, promoting and implementing healthy lifestyle events to strengthen our caring and supportive network; (b) conducting outreach efforts to students through a wide range of psychoeducational events, initiatives, publications and digital marketing; (c) supporting student counseling services and (d) collaborating with Schools/Departments and various stakeholders to enhance students’ psychological well-being and resilience. Irregular working hours may be required.Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, counseling, social work or education with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in the area of youth development. Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English, excellent communication and sophisticated interpersonal skills, as well as group work and event management are required. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated ability to work with students at tertiary educational level, and those who have enthusiasm for enhancing the educational goals for university students. (Duration: 2 years)Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
