Our client, a leading investment firm, is on the lookout for a junior researcher to support their exciting new venture in digital asset investment, specifically focusing on major crypto assets. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key part in the product development process.As the appointed recruitment partner, we are handling the selection process on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will possess strong execution skills, a solid understanding of market trends, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on digital assets, including market trends, valuation models, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate cryptocurrency projects, tokens, and blockchain networks to identify investment opportunities and flag potential risks.
  • Produce high-quality research reports, presentations, and actionable investment recommendations for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and strategy teams to incorporate digital asset insights into broader investment frameworks.
  • Support business development by engaging with industry partners, participating in conferences, and contributing to proposals and marketing materials.
  • Track relevant macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and technological developments impacting the digital asset space.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of digital asset tracking tools and performance evaluation models.
Candidate Profile:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline. MBA or CFA designation is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain space (preferred), or 2–3 years in equity research, ideally focused on TMT or FinTech sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and DeFi principles.
  • Competence in data tools such as Excel, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience in client-facing roles or business development, with strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities—capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with crypto-specific tools such as Glassnode, Dune Analytics, or Bloomberg’s digital asset functions is a plus.
  • Awareness of digital asset regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, CFTC) is preferred.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
