  • Lead product development, overseeing design, prototyping, sampling, and production.
  • Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure product feasibility and alignment with brand standards.
  • Source and evaluate materials for quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of samples and production-ready products.
  • Conduct factory visits and quality inspections to maintain high production standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Merchandising, Sales, Supply Chain) to align product development with business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in bag manufacturing.
Role requirements
  • 5+ years in product development, preferably in bags, accessories or leather goods
  • Strong knowledge of bag construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and factories.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM systems, and Excel for tech packs and cost analysis.
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving ability with a keen eye for detail.
  • Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field preferred.
