The company is a leading sell-side financial institution with strong presence in Hong Kong. It is hiring multiple data analysts to support the expanding business.Responsibilities

Utilize Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Build interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data insights using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous cleansing and validation processes.
Assist in migrating data between systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Support risk analytics projects, identifying trends and anomalies (a background in risk analytics is a plus but not mandatory).

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration or relevant
2-10 years of work experience in financial industry - risk analytics in banking, or data analyts in sell-side firm will be ideal but not a must
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Proven experience in data cleansing and data migration processes.
Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Background in risk analytics is a plus but not required.
Commands in both Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and English
