Senior Credit Analyst - Trade Finance (Leading European Commercial & Private Bank)

• You will evaluate and analyze credit applications for trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections.
• Assess the creditworthiness of clients by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential credit risks associated with trade finance transactions.
• Utilize financial models and credit scoring techniques to determine credit limits and terms for clients.
• Monitor and review existing trade finance facilities to identify any changes in risk profiles and take appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for credit analysis.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for credit committee review and decision-making.
• Provide guidance and support to junior Credit analysts in the credit assessment process.
• *Candidates with less experience will be considered a Credit Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance credit analysis within a commercial/corporate banking environment.
• Strong understanding of trade finance products, including letters of credit, guarantees, and export/import financing.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and industry research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
