- Act as the 1.5 line of defense for the Global Markets business, overseeing risk and control processes across trading, sales, and treasury functions.
- Design and implement business risk controls, including control testing, and issue remediation.
- Ensure compliance with HKMA regulations, internal policies, and global risk standards.
- Partner closely with front office, compliance, operations, and audit teams to identify, assess, and mitigate business risks.
- Support regulatory reviews, internal audits, and risk reporting to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement in control effectiveness and risk culture within the business.
- 8+ years of experience in business risk control within Global Markets.
- Strong familiarity with global markets products, including derivatives, fixed income, FX, and structured products.
- Deep understanding of HKMA regulatory expectations, especially in relation to trading activities and conduct risk.
- Strong knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycle and control frameworks.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence risk-aware decision-making.
- Mandarin and Cantonese is a must.
