香港中文大學Applications are invited for:Laboratory Assistant (carrying the job title of 'Logistics and Delivery Assistant')(Ref. 250001II) (Closing date: September 9, 2025)University Safety OfficeThe University Safety Office is seeking a Logistics and Delivery Assistant who holds a valid light goods vehicle driving license (manual transmission) and is interested in a stable role involving delivery services and logistics support within the campus.The appointee will be responsible for (a) delivering chemical goods across campus, along with assisting in storekeeping, packing, inventory management; and (b) performing basic communication tasks to support logistics operations.Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education, preferably in the Science stream; (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects;
(iii) proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a valid Class 2 driving license, and possess at least 1 year of experience driving light goods vehicles (manual transmission); and (v) familiarity with
MS Windows applications. Possession of a Class 18 Medium Goods Vehicle license will be an advantage.Applicants must submit copies of HKCEE/HKDSE certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to completing and passing specified safety training courses in Safe Conveyance of Dangerous Goods (issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Council or equivalent) with good performance and mutual agreement.[Those who have responded to the previous advertisement for the same post (Ref. 250001G1) need not re-apply.]Application Procedure
