Job SummaryResponsible for managing the day-to-day social media community with the opportunity to create social media content to drive awareness and consideration. The candidate will also assist in executing exciting customer activation events to build the brand relevant to US customers.Principal AccountabilitiesInfluencer & KOL Community Management:
  • Help execute brand strategy for earned media and digital buzz. Contribute to brand campaign ideation and amplify through influencers, KOLs, and consumer word of mouth to build major awareness
  • Help manage paid influencer relationships
  • Help manage the in-house community of brand ambassadors. Maintain ongoing contact list, constantly recruit new influencers, and nurture existing relationships
  • Help execute ad-hoc influencer mailings and ad-hoc influencer / editorial events.
  • Assist in driving review generation
Digital Editorial / PR:
  • Assist in the execution of key events (new product launches, media meetings, interviews, etc.)
  • Coordinate media mailings
  • Beauty awards submission support and maintain placement / discover new opportunities
  • Creative input in building copy for press releases, influencer boxes/mailers, and other types of media communication
In-Real-Life Activations:
  • Assist in coordinating customer activation events from pop-ups, and street sampling to in-store beauty classes to maximize customer experience of the brand.
  • Creation/ ideation of consumer activation merch/swag
External Partnerships
  • Explore, propose, plan, and execute like-minded brand partnerships alongside the manager for social collaborations or events. Both on the local (NYC) and national levels.
Reporting & Admin:
  • Tracking mailer performance + engagement across KOLs ยท Community management (Social)
  • Create ad-hoc competitive reports for events/activations or digital/social media best practices
Key Expierence and Skills
  • Social Media obsessed with a passion for beauty/ make-up, especially Korean skincare
  • Digital/performance marketing, social media content management + creation and/or event planning experiences a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Photoshop is a plus.
  • 0-1 years of experience in a Community Manager / PR / Agency role
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • BA in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Korean language a plus, but not required
