  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program tailored to investment, insurance, and virtual banking products and services.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the bank's operations, ensuring timely updates to policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to business units on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Design and deliver compliance training programs for staff to enhance awareness of regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Serve as a key point of contact with regulatory authorities, managing inquiries and examinations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and consistency in compliance efforts.
  • Prepare and present regular compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key issues and trends.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of compliance manuals and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of compliance experience within the financial services industry, with a focus on investment, insurance, and/or virtual banking.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Hong Kong regulations and guidelines related to banking, investment, and insurance products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese is essential; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or other relevant qualifications are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a virtual banking environment.
  • Familiarity with technology and digital platforms used in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Preferably have I&I 14 liscense
