Project Title: Rethinking University–Society Relations: Novel Typology, Theoretical Foundations and Contextual Variations
[Appointment Period: 11 months]The appointee will provide research and administrative support to the Principal Investigator of the project. This project aims to deepen theoretical understanding of university–society engagement by developing a comprehensive analytical framework and applying it to key domains—technology transfer, graduate employability, and social entrepreneurship—through systematic literature review and cross-regional comparison.Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, assisting with data analysis, drafting research reports, supporting project coordination and administration, and performing other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. The appointment will be for a period of up to 11 months.Applicants should a Bachelor’s Degree or above, preferably in Education, Public Administration, Sociology, or related disciplines, with a high level of proficiency in English. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage. Experience in literature analysis is essential, while knowledge of quantitative data analysis or social network analysis will be beneficial. Familiarity with data analysis software such as NVivo, ATLAS.ti, SPSS, Stata, or R will be considered a plus. Applicants should also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
