- Furnishing extensive legal advice and assistance to diverse business units across an array of legal matters, including regulatory conformity, contract negotiations, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Expeditiously identifying and rectifying legal predicaments that emerge during business operations.
- Staying current with legislative advancements and informing the business of any modifications influencing operations.
- Detecting legal risks embedded in business operations and proposing effective methods to alleviate these risks.
- Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to devise strategies for dispute resolution and liability management.
- Supervising and managing contractual risks, ensuring congruence with company policies.
- A bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a respected Chinese institution is compulsory. An advanced legal degree from a Western jurisdiction (such as LL.M., JD) is highly recommended.
- Possession of a China Bar license is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of legal practice, including substantial experience in mainland China. Experience within a multinational corporation is strongly favored.
- In-depth understanding of Chinese law and familiarity with Hong Kong legal structures.
- Expert proficiency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
- Capability to operate autonomously and handle, prioritize different tasks in a fast-paced environment.
