ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events to formulate fixed income trading strategies and decisions.Manage fixed income trading book to execute bond (China, Hong Kong and Global IG), assist FICC structured product team to price and execute interest rate derivatives and FX trades in a dynamic and fast paced environment, cover both onshore and offshore markets.Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and counterparties.Analyze and manage risk associated with trading positions, ensuring compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with product and sales teams to provide insights and recommendations to clients regarding market conditions and trading strategies.Prepare and present trading performance reports and market analysis to senior management.Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments that may impact trading activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree in Finance, Math or other quantitative fields or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.5-10 years of experience in FICC trading, with a focus on fixed income (China, Hong Kong and Global IG), interest rate derivatives, and FX, experience in Bond Connect and CIBM Direct is a plus.Strong understanding of fixed income and FX markets, including pricing, valuation, and risk management.Proven track record of successful trading performance and decision-making under pressure.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in trading platforms and financial modelling tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and demonstrate a proactive approach to trading strategies.Hong Kong SFC type 1 and 4 license required.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
