  • Lead/monitor statutory and tax filings in Hong Kong & Macau to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Understanding on the local taxation and ability to understand implication of the tax for overseas transactions.
  • Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the corporate accounting setup (including ERP), group reporting, treasury control, local closing, forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Building/implementing a governance and control framework (e.g. LOA, SOD, cash management workflow) for financial operations including working capital/cashflow i.e. AR and credit management/capex management.
  • Responsible for the preparation of financial statements (statutory accounts + Management accounts) for Hong Kong & Macau / China legal entities and assist to help the preparation of management & analysis reports and ad-hoc projects/ assignments.
  • Assist for preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly reports, preparation of the strategic plans and the annual operating plan as needed.
  • Monitor financial KPI in Hong Kong & Macau analysing the trend and cause of variances.
  • Lead/support statutory audit and corporate audit as required in Hong Kong legal & Macau entities.
Qualifications
  • Degree in business/accounting is must, and a qualified member or student member of HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent professional accounting bodies is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experiences ideally 2~3 years of audit experiences and 5+ years of corporate experiences (Engineering/construction industries).
  • Good knowledge on HK Tax
  • Good knowledge on ERP systems and excel.
  • Experience in system implementation and shared service model is a plus.
  • Experiences in MNC environment working across multi business operation and multi-country operation will be a plus.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, adaptive to changes and respect and fulfil the given assignments by deadlines.
  • Close attention on details and willingness to be hands on.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
