Network Infrastructure Assistant Manager (2- year Contract)

• Focus on the development, support, and management of the campus network infrastructure.
• Lead the Wi-Fi team in designing, implementing, and supporting campus Wi-Fi projects.
• Oversee daily Wi-Fi operations, maintenance, and incident resolution to ensure reliable and high-quality service.
• Play a vital role in IT projects related to network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, wired networks, and cybersecurity.
• Stay informed about advancements in network technology and recommend necessary updates to meet the University's needs.
• Collaborate with internal units and external contractors for network installation and maintenance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance during non-office hours as required.
• Maintain standardized documentation, including operational manuals, procedural documents, and network diagrams.
• Communicate effectively with management and business stakeholders.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Director of Office or their delegates.

• A recognized degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of eight years of relevant work experience, with a preference for at least five years managing various brands of Wi-Fi systems (1000+ access points, preferably with Aruba products) in campus or large organizations.
• Extensive experience in designing, migrating, and implementing Wi-Fi systems in campus or large-scale environments.
• Proven expertise in managing BGP and OSPF networks.
• Demonstrated experience in network infrastructure design, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• A forward-thinking approach to optimizing network systems for long-term success.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team spirit.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various parties regarding project-related and daily support issues.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
