Serve as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related issues within the organization.
Monitor and analyze security events using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and other security tools to detect and respond to threats.
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead remediation efforts to minimize impact.
Develop, maintain, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, particularly within the Microsoft Azure environment.
Collaborate with IT, cloud architects, and DevOps teams to ensure secure design and configuration of systems and applications.
Implement and manage cloud security controls, focusing on Microsoft Azure security features and native tools.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies related to cloud security and Microsoft platforms.
Provide cybersecurity awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
Prepare detailed reports on security posture, incident response, and risk assessments for senior management.
Participate in audits and compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably with cloud security focus.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security services and tools, including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
Solid understanding of network security, threat detection, incident response, and cloud security best practices.
Experience in creating and managing security policies and procedures.
Proficient in security monitoring, log analysis, and incident handling.
Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Ability to work independently and take ownership of cybersecurity initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
