Head of Legal - State-Owned Enterprise客户简介Our client, a leading state-owned enterprise, is seeking a strategic and experienced legal leader to serve as Head of Legal. This role is critical in ensuring legal integrity across all aspects of the business-from corporate governance and commercial transactions to dispute resolution and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will provide legal support for executive decision-making, manage pre-IPO legal workstreams, and serve as the primary liaison with SASAC and other regulatory bodies.工作内容Oversee all legal matters across the business, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulationsProvide legal guidance for strategic decisions, internal systems, and operational frameworksDevelop and maintain internal legal policies and procedures to support business integrityDraft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, procurement agreements, and strategic partnershipsAdvise on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory obligationsEnsure legal support for business units in day-to-day operations and long-term planningLead legal support for M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, and capital market activitiesManage legal due diligence, disclosure, and documentation for pre-IPO readinessCoordinate with external counsel, investment banks, and regulatory authoritiesProtect the company's legal rights and interests across all jurisdictionsLead negotiations and settlements in contentious mattersEnsure compliance with SASAC governance and reporting requirementsPrepare legal reports and documentation for government and regulatory stakeholdersSupport board-level communications and shareholder disclosures理想的求职者Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7+ years PQEStrong expertise in corporate commercial law, transactions, and regulatory complianceExperience working with or within state-owned enterprises and government agenciesProven ability to manage complex legal projects and lead cross-functional teamsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsFluent in Chinese, Mandarin and English福利待遇
