- Program Planning: Develop a detailed program plan to revamp the sample process, coordinating delivery with Go-To-Market deadlines and ensuring efficient sample production.
- Process Redesign: Transform current sample workflows by transitioning from bulk production runs to pre-production runs, involving upstream teams to meet new process milestones. Provide clear communication to functional leaders regarding key issues, risks, and necessary decisions throughout the program.
- Sampling Guidelines: Establish precise guidelines for sample requirements, including ordering and delivery schedules, quality standards, and quantities for both global and regional teams.
- Raw Material Strategy: Create a strategy for pre-positioning raw materials to support timely sample delivery while managing liability and exit planning effectively.
- Vendor Engagement: Evaluate the impact of redesigning the sample process on vendors, identify critical negotiation factors, and ensure vendor alignment with process changes.
- Implementation & Monitoring: Develop a rollout plan for implementing process changes, engage with leadership and teams, allocate budget for sample costs, and track program progress through milestones. Continuously monitor the implementation of the new process and ensure samples are delivered on schedule.
- B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Program management of Apparel & related field preferred.
- A strong knowledge in apparel production process and/or merchandising background.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Presentation Skills.
