My client, a leading global WealthTech firm, comprised of high calibre Software Engineers, Quant Strategists and Technical Programme Managers, are expanding their Hong Kong setup, considerably. This additional hire will suit strategic Programme Manager who has in-depth experience working on cutting edge tech implementation projects and programmes, while simultaneously engaging with global c-suite stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary Programme Manager and liaison between functional/technical stakeholders, executive leadership, as well as Sales/Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure transparent communication, alignment on project status, and swift resolution of challenges.
  • Actively participate in the full project lifecycle inclusive of presales, requirements analysis, solution design, quality assurance, Integration and user acceptance testing, escalation management.
  • Establish and optimize communication frameworks across internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity, accountability, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive timely and cost-effective delivery of technology solutions, ensuring projects meet agreed milestones and quality targets. Proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations to maintain project momentum.
  • Solution-Driven Leadership - Spearhead discussions on new requirements or challenges, working with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and realistic timelines that exceed client expectations.
Requirements
  • 10 - 15 years in IT Project Management - with a track record of leading complex system implementations in a banking or finance environment.
  • Proven Project Management expertise (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) with certifications such as PMP, CSPO, CSM, Scaled Agile or equivalent.
  • A solid level of experience in SQL for data analysis and system integrations
  • Proven ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new systems and architectures
  • Proficiency with Cloud and Enterprise technologies (Linux, Windows, SQL), programming skills in C#, and shell scripting, and a familiarity with CI/CD pipelines would be a great advantage.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, and exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
