ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership and oversight in project management, retrofitting, upgrades, dry docking, and compliance with environmental regulations, including IMO DCS and other marine services process. Ensure all work aligns with jobs specifications, classification society rules, international regulations, industry standards and onboard operational compatibility.Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, agents, authorities, Class and Flag etc to ensure projects are executed professionally, ethically, cost effectively, and in full compliance with quality standards.Manage vendor induction and supplier management under the guidance from Deputy General Manager / General Manager. Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors for marine services and projects, ensuring product quality and specification compliance. Conduct technical evaluations and support contract negotiations. Submit vendor induction proposals to the Deputy General Manager (Marine Services) and General Manager for final approvalAnalyze and resolve technical issues arising during project execution. Conduct case studies and address specific project requirements from management or clients. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including other project managers, engineers, category lead and suppliers, to identify solutions and implement corrective actions.Lead a team of technical professionals, including engineers, category lead and support team. Provide mentorship, training, and technical support while fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environmentPerform ad hoc tasks as assigned by General Manager, VMSRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineMinimum of 2 years’ experience as Chief Engineer onboard vessels; prior experience as a Technical Superintendent is preferredAt least 10 years of related working experience on board (total sea-going experience),Responsible, positive, well-organized, and capable of effective communication across all levelsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProficient in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing tools (via translator or equivalent)Good command of spoken and written EnglishImmediate availability is highly preferredQualified and interested parties please click “Quick apply” or send application with your current and expected salary to HR Department via email to [email redacted, apply via Company website].
