Job SummaryRunway 1331 is a dynamic youth hostel in the heart of Kai Tak, celebrated for its vibrant community, creativity, and comfort. We are seeking an innovative and passionate Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives, elevate brand visibility, and attract both local and international guests. This role is ideal for a results-oriented marketer who excels in storytelling, digital engagement, and thrives in a youth-centric, fast-paced environment.Principal Accountabilities
  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Runway 1331’s events.
  • Digital Marketing Management: Oversee all digital marketing channels, including social media platforms, website, and email campaigns.
  • Content Creation: Produce engaging and original content that embodies the hostel’s youthful and creative ethos.
  • Event Promotion: Organize, promote, and support events, workshops, and community activities to enhance guest engagement and participation.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with local businesses, influencers, and tourism partners to expand outreach and strengthen partnerships.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize results.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or higherField of Study: Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or Related disciplinesArea of Experience: Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle brandsOther Professional Qualifications / Technical Skills / Knowledge Required
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management, content creation, and event promotion
  • Excellent communication, creative writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong’s youth culture and travel trends (an advantage)
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua required
