(Post Ref.: 24/68)The Department of Psychology ( ) is the latest establishment in the Faculty of Social Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team based at the Department of Psychology. The Department builds on the strengths of faculty in the field of positive occupational health psychology, psychological well-being, social psychology, and cross-cultural psychology. In line with the liberal arts tradition of the University, the Department is also strongly committed to providing high quality teaching and a supportive learning environment to students.General RequirementsApplicants for the position should have: (i) a doctoral degree in Psychology or Counselling with relevant teaching experience; (ii) ability to teach a broad range of subjects, including “Theories and Models in Counselling Psychology”, “Abnormal Psychology”, “Personal Growth” and “Human Relationship and Interpersonal Skills in Organisations”; (iii) an excellent command of English; and (iv) preferably administrative experience in programme promotion and operation.AppointmentA highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to fringe benefits which include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance.
