  • Lead a team of network architect and network engineers to manage and operate IT network & security infrastructure and services which involve both IT & OT systems. Ensure network architecture compliant with company standards and follow industrial best practice.
  • Lead the strategic direction and develop IT network technology & services roadmap.
  • Build a robust operations model that drives IT network availability to Five 9s target (99.999%). Accountable and ensuring high availability of IT network services is provided to prevent any interruptions either on customer facing systems (e.g. company websites) or company network services (e.g. LAN, Internet) that cause impact to company reputation or productivity.
  • Work with stakeholders to agree on service level objectives (SLO / SLA) and measures. Aligned with different department and team heads on the expectation of the IT network services provided. Set the transparency on the services provided to departments and project teams for them to better plan on projects and daily activities.
  • Drive an action based and outcome driven mindset within the team to improve IT network availability and performance. Define clear KPI for the team to follow and measure the deliverables and performance of the team.
  • Network operations process re-engineering. Drive automation on IT network provisioning and management. Streamline the network operations by re-designing operational procedures and adoption of automation tools. Improve accuracy and reduce manual efforts required for performing new projects / tasks.
  • Inspire a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Create an atmosphere in the team for member to raise creative ideas and learn from problems or faults to keep improving in projects and daily operations.
  • Develop and uplift the capability of the team. Provide insights and opportunities that support learning and growth. Build a strong technical team to handle new technologies adopted. Reduce the reliance of vendors in projects and business as usual (BAU) support to ensure sustainability of the team in supporting business and digital initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as IT network & security manager or relevant experience in managing enterprise scope of IT network.
  • Strategic thinking and proven records in developing IT network roadmap and transforming a team to operate from traditional network to cloud based / cloud native network.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining high availability IT network infrastructure with proactive monitoring and automated remediation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced understanding of networking protocols, architecture and technologies including TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, BGP, multicast and network virtualization.
  • Strong knowledge in cloud networking, specifically with Azure, Ali Cloud and Oracle Cloud, including Express Route, FastConnect and Multi-Cloud connectivity.
  • In depth knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPN, IPS, Anti-DDoS and encryption.
  • Holder of CCIE certification or equivalent, Routing & Switching or Data Centre, is an added advantage.
