
Senior Sales Manager (Greater Bay Area) (Regional Telecom Carrier) - IC

- Develop new and existing business focus on Great Bay Area development
- Generate new revenue from customers to meet an assigned annual sales quota
- Manage customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction in order to increase sales revenue
- Manage key accounts and develop long term business relationships with customers
- Aggressively generate and pursue sales leads to develop new sources of revenue from corporate customers to meet or exceed annual quota
- Respond to telecommunication requirements and IT related inquiries from potential corporate and international customers
- Manage all stages of the sales cycle including developing leads through cold-calling, qualifying prospects, customized proposal development, contract negotiation, and project implementation
- Follow through with all internal post-sales processes, including submitting paperwork for all order processes, coordinating to ensure services are turned up in a timely manner and any other post-sales issues (i.e. billing, collection etc); work with various individuals across departments to ensure delivery of results
- Provide exceptional customer experience for prospects and clients to develop long term business opportunities
- Engage customers at the senior management / director levels
- Support customers in HK, Singapore and overseas. Travelling to overseas when required.
- Assess client' s existing and future requirements
- Propose business and telecommunication solutions
- Deliver formal customer presentations in fluent Mandarin and English
- Write and present customer proposals in English and Chinese
- Complete annual strategic sales action plans
- Forecast business as required by management in order to ascertain demand for products and services
- Provide competitive market feedback on a regular basis in order to ensure products remain competitive in the marketplace
- Evaluate and select vendors
- At least 10-15 years relevant experience in business development and account management in the Telco, ICT, Cloud, Cybersecurity and system integrators industries
- Candidates with sales experience and network with Greater Bay Area fast growing enterprises will be an added advantage
- Knowledge on telecommunication network including voice, data, WAN, data centre and network infrastructure technologies
- Knowledge on ICT technologies and services including unified communications, video conference, IT security, network optimization, cloud etc
- Understanding of managed services and/or managed security services competition and market landscape
- Capable to deliver strong selling pitches and presentation in PowerPoint, business proposal writeup as well as hands-on experience in bidding tender and official RFP/RFQ.
- Must be a self-driven, energetic, resourceful, creative person with strong leadership.
- Able to project strong, positive image of self and company.
- Talent in resolving internal and external issues and compliant with corporate policy
- Able to master corporate system workflow and order process related to sales role. Especially, skills in using Salesforce for CRM and pipeline management
- Proficient in communication via digital and social media channel; must be O365 skillful user
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaking; Proficient in English and Chinese writing and word processing skill
- The following knowledge will be a plus: legal knowledge in contract negotiation / financial knowledge in business case analysis
