  • The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide full EA support to include secretarial, administrative, and business support to Global Head of Strategy for Wealth and Personal Banking
  • This role will require the role holder to deal across the matrix with multiple and sometimes complex enquiries. There is a high volume of work which will require a thorough and thoughtful response, ensuring deadlines are met in an often time pressured environment. It will be necessary for the role holder to be highly adaptable and resilient
  • The role holder will need to be proficient in senior stakeholder management. Given the Global nature of the role, flexibility is key to allow the Senior Executive/s to operate effectively across multiple time zones and where ad hoc support for the regional may be required
  • Organising complex schedules, managing conflicts, co-ordinate activities, events, resources, meetings, and liaising with internal/external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and arrange team meetings; ensuring team records are up to date
  • Manage all travel-related activities
  • Visitor/telephone screening and handling of internal / external correspondences
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned
  • Adhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive activities
RequirementsJob Requirements
  • High Diploma holder or above
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese; written and spoken
  • Extensive experience supporting, communicating with and providing executive assistance to Senior Executive in multinational company or global bank, with proven ability to demonstrate absolute integrity and judgment in handling sensitive matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills, broad understanding and appreciation of operating environment and stakeholder landscape with ability to accommodate personal styles to different situations.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work under a tight schedule and pressure
  • Ability to adapt to a wide range of work procedure and guidelines
  • Project management skills and ability to execute functional projects is an added plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications as well as the core HSBC approval systems
