- Lead the total rewards strategy, aligning it with business goals and talent needs.
- -Provide guidance to senior leadership on compensation trends, market competitiveness, and reward philosophy.
- Design and manage annual pay review cycles, executive compensation, salary structures, job evaluation, sales incentive plans, and executive compensation programs.
- Ensure pay practices are equitable, competitive, and compliant with legal standards.
- Oversee health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and employee wellness programs.
- Continuously evaluate offerings to ensure they meet employee needs and market
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to inform pay decisions.
- Monitor trends and provide data-driven recommendations for program enhancements.
- Lead the design, communication, and administration of total rewards programs.
- Ensure programs are delivered effectively and remain within budgetary constraints.
- Partner with HR, finance, legal, and business leaders to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Support talent acquisition and retention strategies through compelling reward offerings.
- Drive change Initiatives related to compensation and benefits with clear communication plans
- Educate employees and leaders on reward philosophies, program changes and the value of their total rewards package.
- University degree and 8 - 10 years of relevant total reward experience.
- Experience in data analytics, incentive design and exposure to executive compensation are all assets.
- Strong knowledge and experience with program design (i.e. salary structure, incentive and benefit plan design) and strong financial and business acumen. Experience in Financial Services is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills including data analytics and data visualization. Strong skills in Excel are essential with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data. Experience with statistics and data visualization technologies like Tableau would be an asset.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to develop executive audience presentations and explain concepts to diverse audiences. PowerPoint skills are essential with the ability to integrate data and visualizations into impactful presentations.
- Strong consultation skills with the ability to partner with HR functions and with Business leaders to build relationships, collaborate and recommend reward solutions that solve business problems.
- Ability to organize and accomplish objectives independently and proactively.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop a course of action.
- Strong project management with the ability to plan, organize and resource assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
