- Manage a 24x7 network infrastructure environment, ensuring systems are maintained in a secure, stable, and reliable manner to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
- Oversee network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Oversee Avaya IP Telephony systems, ensuring reliable voice communication across the organization.
- Implement and maintain robust network security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
- Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support infrastructure projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Plan and secure funding for network upgrades, migrations, and expansions, then execute them from concept to completion with minimal operational disruption.
- Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network needs, ensuring scalability and performance as the organization grows.
- Analyze network usage trends and develop strategies for optimization and redundancy.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging networking technologies for potential adoption.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration or engineering
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and enterprise network architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, Fortigate, or equivalent networking equipment.
- Experience with F5 load balancers, McAfee IPS/IDS, NAC, FortiProxy appliance, PulseSecure SSL VPN, PABX and Avaya IP Telephony system.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments is a plus.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
- Language skills: Strong command of English and Cantonese for professional communication; ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
