Job Summary:The Youth Liaison Officer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of programs and activities under the Kai Tak Youth Projects. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of initiatives that promote youth development, community engagement, and social inclusion. The Officer will collaborate with team members, partners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful programs while providing administrative and logistical support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has a passion for working with youth and communities.Principal Accountabilities:1. Program Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of youth-oriented programs and activities.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, materials preparation, and participant registration.2. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote and facilitate participation in programs.
- Support communication with youth participants and their families to ensure engagement and satisfaction.3. Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track program progress and maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports to evaluate the success and impact of activities.4. Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance, including maintaining databases, preparing budgets, and handling correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all activities.5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with program managers and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
- Support volunteers and part-time staff to deliver high-quality programs.6. Community Outreach:
- Assist in promoting programs through community outreach, marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Foster positive relationships with community members and organizations to increase participation and awareness.Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher).Field of Study: Social Work, Education, Event Management, Communication, or a related field.Area of Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in youth work, program coordination, or community engagement.Other Professional Qualifications / Technical Skills / Knowledge Required:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of youth development practices and community engagement strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
