- Assist Project / Senior QS on pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties for MEP Works including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, tender evaluation, cashflow forecast, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
- Preparing the MEP Works taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
- Collaborate and develop good working relationship with QS team members and external stakeholders
- Attend meetings and site inspections when required
- Comply with the Company’s QA requirements and best practice
- Responsible for pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties for MEP Works including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, tender evaluation, cashflow forecast, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
- Supervise and manage the MEP Works taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
- Leading and coaching junior staff in delivery of services, including checking on the works done by junior staff
- Collaborate and develop good relationship with clients and stakeholders internally and externally
- Attend meetings and site inspections when required
- Comply with the Company’s QA requirements and best practice
- Bachelor degree holder in Quantity Surveying discipline, Building Services / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- For Quantity Surveyor, at least 3 years relevant MEP quantity surveying experience, preferably gained within Consultant Firm
- Candidates with less than 3 years relevant MEP Work quantity surveying experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- MEP Engineering practitioners with MEP cost management experience will also be considered
- Preferably with strong interest to participate in Cost Management / Quantity Surveying for MEP Works on construction projects
- Good learner and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and ambitious to achieve success working in collaborative team environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Candidate with experience in working with Housing Authority or Architectural Services Department projects shall have preference
- Bachelor degree holder in Quantity Surveying discipline, Building Services / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 6 years relevant MEP Work quantity surveying experience in construction projects, preferably gained within Quantity Surveying Consultant Firm
- Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors or equivalent (minimum 2 years)
- MEP Engineering professionals with MEP cost management experience will also be considered
- Preferably with strong interest to participate in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying for MEP Works on construction projects
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and lead a team to achieve success working in collaborative team environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Project Quantity Surveyor
- Candidate with experience in working with Housing Authority or Architectural Services Department projects shall have preference
