Key RoleAct as central key contact for suppliers regarding quality related topics. Be responsible of supplier quality risk management, supplier evaluation and development. To provide related support to ensure break down of strategy on operational level. Managing the suppliers and sub-assemblies process control with focus on electronics commodities. To ensure achievement of requirements in related to suppliers performance, products, processes and sustainability.Main Responsibilities

Conduct supplier potential analysis and evaluation for matching projected supplier portfolio from commodity strategy
Support in carrying out supplier quality and manufacturing process audit, APQA and PAP as well as risk assessment and initiation of counter measures
Coordinate supplier on-boarding / re-qualification / evaluation / development / phase-out
Support in negotiating of quality related agreements with suppliers
Responsible for risk analysis and mitigation actions.
Act proactively in classification of suppliers
Execution of APQP on parts level with supplier; incl. process approval on a timely basis
Contribution of supplier specific requirements to the quality strategy of commodity
Assist in handling shipment approval
Participate in supplier decision and coordination of supplier escalation procedures
Perform ad hoc job task as and when assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
5+ years of hands on experience in mechanical components manufacturing, including stamping, machining, sintering, rubber and plastic etc. as well as OEM products commodities (assembly & accessories)
Possessed with VDA 6.3 certified auditor qualification is an advantage
Equipped with solid experience of garden product/forestry industry is an added advantage
Strong negotiation and communication as well as analytical skills
With good technical background in supplier quality engineering
Good command of both speaking and written English, Chinese with spoken Mandarin
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT and Chinese word processing
Familiar with SAP system is a plus
Willing to travel (mainly within ASEAN region and Mainland China)
