Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree or a Master's degree in Biochemistry or other Biological Sciences disciplines with a firm background in molecular and cell biology; (ii) at least one year of relevant post-qualification research experience (for PhD degree holders), OR at least four years of relevant post-qualification research experience (for Master’s degree holders); (iii) knowledge of cancer cell signalling and flow cytometry; and (iv) a publication track record. Prior experience in in-vivo studies will be an advantage.The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting research work on blood cancer; (b) drafting manuscripts and grant proposals; (c) preparing academic publications in various scientific journals; (d) supervising research staff and postgraduate students; and (e) performing other tasks and projects as assigned.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
