The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-forprofit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Applications are now invited for the following post:Duties: The appointee will be assigned to work as a core project team member and responsible for delivering IT projects related to setting up the hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), virtualized
machine (VM) farm, cloud service engagement, P2V system migration, and the next-generation
data centre establishment. Apart from project related duties including vendor management, system configuration and change execution, troubleshooting and documentation, the staff is also expected to contribute to the design and development of a hybrid cloud architecture for the Authority.Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering
or related disciplines;
(b) At least 5 years’ working experience with minimum of 3-year experience in IT infrastructure
areas;
(c) Understanding in one or more types of IT infrastructure technologies, including VMware
ESXi, VMware NSX, SAN storage, HCI, SRM, firewall, load balancer, VPN, networking,
and/or container service;
(d) Possess knowledge in Windows, Linux, hybrid and multi-cloud environments to support
DRaaS;
(e) Possess knowledge in DevOps, automation, or infrastructure-as-a-code is an advantage;
(f) Self-motivated, innovative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, team player with
good communication skills;
(g) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English; and
(h) Candidate with less experience will be considered.Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF
benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts
