This role requires the candidate to be strong in interpersonal skills, international mindset and detail oriented with the ability to drive project execution. This role is based in Hong Kong. Duration of the internship is 3 months and the contract may extendable upon performance review.Responsibilities:
- Support business development initiatives, with primary focus on international clients and stakeholders in Asia and MENA region
- Collect and analyze political, economic, and securities industry news and data in Asia and MENA markets.
- Conduct research activities on economies, industries and companies in the region
- Support the daily communication with internal stakeholders including business units and functional teams
- Assist in the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations, including market updates, ad-hoc reporting, etc.
- Support relationship management, initiative and collaboration with regional institutions, including but not limited to corporates, government organization and clients
- Current undergraduate student (preferably in 3rd year of study or above); or master (including MBA) student;
- Previous internship or work experience in investment banking/research/consulting with reputable institutions is preferable
- Strong self-starter, self-confident and detail-oriented
- Excellent data mining skills and analytical ability to interpret data
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business/financial data portals (Bloomberg, dialogic, etc.)
- Effective written and oral communication skills, English/Mandarin bilingual capability; language proficiency in either Korean, Russian or Arabic is a plus but not a must.
- Able to work at least 3 working days per week
